A girl I recently started dating asked me to take a road trip to Knoxville with her last weekend for her sister’s gender reveal party. Gender reveals aren’t really my thing because it usually means you have to bring a gift and excessive drinking is sometimes frowned upon, but this girl is pretty hot. I even agreed to split the cost of the gift.
So we get there and I found it weird because the sister didn’t look pregnant. I probably should have known something was off when the present my girl picked out was a gift card to Edwin Watts Golf.
Anyhow, it turns out that her sister is “gender fluid” (it’s a real thing, look it up), and throws parties for herself whenever she feels like changing genders. I would have been more pissed about buying 1/2 of a gift if I wasn’t kind of jealous that I didn’t think of it first.
The party ended up being fun since everyone drank and there was lots of talk about sports by her sister’s friends. I totally blew it though by asking for a refund of the $25 I chipped in. My date called me transphobic and refused to pay me back. I don’t think she’s going to go out with me again.
I think our coaches should tell this story to any recruits considering going to UT. Things just aren’t right up there.

That seemed to be another theme of the party. I did meet a girl named Jodi that I’m 60% sure was into guys. Even though I was technically on a date with someone else, I think Jodi and I connected.
I posted on a Tennessee message board this morning trying to find her. Fingers crossed!

illness (in fact anyone who identifies as something other than their biological sex, M or F, is mentally ill to a degree, imo)

Very much so. Didn’t even hear about this crap back in the day. The kids these days need so much attention. Very prevalent on social media and the constant need to post so many selfies. Sad to see the moral decline of this nation. Seems the same type things brought Rome down from what I have read.
