while CU has 1 but he is rated #1 (Sammy Brown).
Saying, we laughed a bit about Dawgs taking 41 yrs to win another Natty but they did and backed it up with another he following year..
and odds are favorable for them to win a 3rd straight this year and with this Freak talent haul for 2024 they could win more natties this decade.

UGA has always had highly ranked recruiting classes. Right now, they have no more championships than Clemson.
I can never wipe the image of Herschel Walker with his Trans Am out of my mind.

UGA doesn't recruit they 'HIRE" and pay like Russia, China, and Ukraine pays Hunter Biden!

It wasn’t bad enough that the tremendous population growth in Georgia has resulted in a lot of great young football talent growing up as Georgia Bulldog fans.
UGA also turns out twice as many alumni - many of whom have risen to prominent positions in corporate heavy Atlanta’s multimillion dollar businesses - thus giving them the ability to provide very lucrative NIL offers. Recalling all those winning NY Yankees teams that George Steinbrenner ‘bought’, I fully expect UGA will continue signing (‘hiring’) the best talent and will win more than a few more championships.
NIL, the transfer portal and conference realignment are going to destroy the college football that most of us over thirty have loved, cherished and followed (almost as a religion) during our lives.
Sadly for me, I will never lose my love for my Clemson Tigers, but I don’t think I’ll long be a fan or follower of the ‘big three’ of college football, basketball or baseball. Sigh….
