IMO, Louisville and Georgia Tech are underrated. SMU is a good team and Clemson has gotten better since the loss to UGA.

But I might agree with the second part of your assertion if the outcome of that thinking wasn't putting in a 3 loss SEC team as their 4th invite. I think at some point you have to recognize that good football teams exist outside of the SEC and BIG, and if the argument were that a BYU or IOWA St should get in instead of SMU I'd at least be open to the discussion. But when the alternative to putting in SMU who entered the ACCCG with a single loss (to a ranked team) is to put in a Bama or Ole Miss team with 3 losses, I just don't buy it.

Win games and it won't matter.
SMU won their games. Bama and many other SEC teams lost more games.
Sounds like a mega conference problem 🤷 ya wanna be a super mega conference with all the money then don't be surprised when your teams all have like 2-3 losses.
Not our problem. ACC deserves 2 after last night 💯

Bama has 2 of the 3 worst losses of any team in the conversation. Ole Miss has 3 losses but a win over conference champ. Coots have 3 losses but a win over conference champ. SMU has 2 losses. In my opinion it comes down to these 3 teams. SMU is currently 8 in the standings they should not fall out of the top 12 for losing a Conference Championship game. I think SMU should get in for that reason..

We just need more teams ranked in the pre season pollls. You know like the SEC does every year? Then when you lose 3 it’s just the fact that you lost to ranked teams and it does not seem to hurt you that much in the end.

The ACC is a much improved conference overall this year. Only FSU and Nancy state took big steps backward. The SEC is still better but the curve is leveling off.
