but the fact that he was "on his way" has no immediate bearing on the club's license. The cops would have needed to catch him or other underage players inside to make a case against the license. You're right about one thing though...ownership at strip clubs is typically NOT your church-going community-minded merchants. I'd guess the courtesy stops for UT players, at least for a while, and too much running off at the mouth could end up with somebody on the injured reserve list next season if it causes too much attention.

I have a couple of friends who bought and ran a strip club in Columbia for a while. One of them met a woman who wasn't a stripper and decided to cash out to prolong the relationship, and they've now been happily married for many years. The other was already divorced and decided to stay in the business and had a nice run for a few more years until he was 'encouraged' to sell to a group of businessmen of European descent. He did the smart thing and got out because the prospective buyers have traditionally been known for being quite persuasive. No idea if the club is even still there, this all went down in 1990s and the friend who stayed in later had health issues and passed away.
