Lots of negativity the last two weeks, and somewhat deserved. However, its from unrealistic expectations. Watching this team all season long, they were due for a series loss or two. Its really hard to beat good or evenly matched teams at home. NC State, FSU, and Coastal are all good teams. They played poorly in general with some seriously questionable coaching at times. I do think they will bounce back from the adversity and beat Duke and Pitt. I'll reserve judgement for after this weekend on postseason chances. Remember what Fresno State and Ole Miss did? They do have to hit better and tighten up pitching to make it happen.

You can’t appreciate the winning until you lose a little. Better to lose now than lose in the tournament.

Hope they turn it around but at this point, they are who they are. One batter hitting over .300. OPS is awful. And the approach as a team is awful. All season long they have looked at way to many FB's and get behind early on and then all they see is off-speed. Look at the K's as a team. Unfortunately as the pitching get better I don't see them having success, but they could surprise me.

I have never seen a coach hitting or pitching. Our weak schedule the first couple of months has caught up with us I am afraid.

There is hope to be had. Key is to get bye in acc tournament first round. Now tied 6th but can get Duke this weekend (at least 2). Nc has FSU and NC ST, GT has Louisville and Duke and we finish with Pitt. Good chance for Bye needed with Pitching struggles. We need more swagger and energy. I think we took a great deal of Fire out of team by taking Listi out of lead off. He is a fire starter. Really need hitting improvement.
