Bourbon and peanut butter

Was eating some Ritz crackers and peanut butter and decided to pour a bourbon post snack. Man the peanut butter left on my pallet really brings out some interesting (in a good way) flavors. Brought out a hazelnut, or kinda toasted almond type flavors.

Have you tried the “peanut butter bourbon”.? Mix with a little chocolate liqueur, touch of buffalo trace bourbon cream, over ice…. What a dessert!

After having 1-2 Rums or Bourbons every other 2 weeks while out shag dancing from 2007-2014..
I gave the social drinking up in 2014 when I quit shag dancing but do have a wine or beer or bourbon or whiskey drink about 1-2 times a month when out socially.
However, the guys on TNet swear I’m a Rummie which I just let fly over my head since it’d be wasted breath.

I have noticed that every bourbon I have tasted, tastes better, in good way, with food. Bourbons are especially good to me with hot/spicy foods.
Since I made that discovery, I always have bourbon with food, or immediately after.
I don't have peanut butter, but just happen to have some in-the-shell roasted peanuts that I will try with bourbon when I get home.

If you want something really good get yourself a bottle of BT cream bourbon and add it to a mug of Dark chocolate silk milk and microwave it for a few minutes. Add a little whipped cream and you have yourself a real hot toddy.

I’ll eat peanut butter and honey or molasses as a snack some evenings. Adding a splash of bourbon makes it really gooooood
