Dear FBCoachSC®.
The original link establishes that the original gathering was a peaceful protest. Only when police started deploying various forms of crowd dispersal tools, including tear gas, stun guns, and the ‘less lethal’ impact munitions, did a very small minority of the ~ 120,000 peaceful protesters become

The first paragraph are quotes from the mother of a non-violent participant (interspersed in the crowd which had attacked the Federal Courthouse in Portland) who had been severely harmed by law control officers who were REACTIVELY addressing the violent already-underway riots.
“In my opinion, the fault lies with the feds at the scene,” she said, “needlessly firing into a generally peaceful unarmed crowd and aiming for the head. It is my understanding that nonlethal rounds are not to be aimed at vital organs and no rounds of any kind should be shot at any unarmed person.”

As NJDEV’s post / link explains, it was Capitol Police’s PROACTIVE use of tear gas, impact munitions, etc. that stimulated the onset of aggressiveness among a small fraction of the J6 crowd.
The combination of (1) federal agent ‘infiltrators’ (masquerading as protesters) in the J6 crowd who were inciting violence -&- (2) PROACTIVE deployment of tear gas and impact munitions triggered the illegal behavior from that small minority of the overall J6 crowd.
Xxxxxxxx
It was the ‘Never Trump’ authorities that triggered the onset of illegal behavior.

Dear 19B®,

The OP’s link reveals that a combination of (1) federal agent instigators who had infiltrated the J6 crowd -plus- (2) PROACTIVE deployment of tear gas, impact munitions, etc. triggered a small minority of the noisy (but peaceful) crowd to adopt aggressive (and in limited cases, illegal) behavior in response.
Xxxxxxx
It was the federal authorities themselves … not the J6 crowd … that triggered the riot component of the J6 protesters.

Proof of Fed’s role to trigger J6 riots = new info
Feb 25, 2023, 6:36 PM
|
|
NJDEV’s OP / link provides a more detailed summary than that to which the ‘Trump caused the J6 riot’ crowd had been previously exposed.
Sure, it’s embarrassing for the ‘Orange Man Bad’ crowd to face the fact that they had been willfully gullible in swallowing the false narrative from MSM, deep state politicians who were (and still are) terrified that Trump would spoil their crony capitalistic schemes for acquisition of personal wealth, and the political opportunists who were on the J6 committees.
No one likes to learn that they had been both lazy and stupid. The shame is even worse when publicly exposed for being lazy and stupid.
It’s understandable that the ‘Orange Man Bad’ crowd would engage in diversions via attempted humor or attacking the messenger.
(***). It’s time for the ‘Orange Man Bad’ crowd to save face and seriously rethink their allegiances to the numerous sources of ‘information’ that had so thoroughly deceived them.

Dear conservativealex
BLM riots and all of the other riots stand as their own individual case.
Trump was not in power when the federal agent infiltrators and Capitol City Police combined to PROACTIVELY stimulate that small fraction of the huge J6 crowd to become aggressive (from which an even smaller fraction became actually violent).
(***). The time has come for the ‘Orange Man Bad’ crowd to recognize that they had eagerly slurped up a bunch of BS because they wanted it to be true.
Now that the ‘Orange Man Bad’ crowd’s beliefs about J6 have been thoroughly discredited via the extremely tardy releases of actual police videos, it’s time foe the OMB crowd to stop being lazy and stupid. It’s time to be mad at the numerous sources of ‘information’ that had so thoroughly duped you.
No one likes to be publicly embarrassed for being stupid.
The best path forward for the OMB crowd is to take that first step: Be aware of your confirmation biases. Don’t reject out of hand information that challenges your confirmation biases. And … THINK, THINK, THINK. Emotion is no substitute for thinking.

Dear josephg®,
Clever to remember the opening verse for Neil Young’s great song Ohio, but please read NJDEV’s post / link and watch / listen to the clips.
The ‘Orange Man Bad’ crowd has been deceived for over two years by a convergence of disinformation from federal govt agencies, MSM, and members of Congress whose crony capitalistic schemes to accumulate personal fortunes were threatened by Trump’s presidency.
Confirmation bias from the Orange Man Bad crowd has led that willfully self-deluded group to gobble up any piece of anti-Trump ‘information’ and to incorporate that fecal matter into their being.
Of course the OMB crowd is shamed by being publicly exposed as rubes. No one likes being embarrassed.
The cure is to learn from this. Instead of relying on emotion and a desire to be popular with knuckleheads, substitute thinking for emotion. Doing so will allow your curiosity to flourish … and to not be threatened by ‘new’ information which challenges those comfortable (but ignorant) beliefs.
Best regards.

Narratives should change according to new info
Feb 25, 2023, 7:39 PM
|
|
DearCatahoula®,
Rather than funny, legitimate narratives get adjusted when new information becomes available.
NJDEV6’s post and link provides info that had been concealed by authorities for over two years.
The members of MSM, federal agencies, congressional representatives who were fearful that DJT would dismantle the crooked laws allowing insider trading, etc. by which they so tremendously enriched themselves, and the politically opportunistic J6 committees are the conspirators who propagandized the Orange Man Bad crowd into swallowing whole the nonsensical J6 farce.
The OMB crowd needs to put aside its confirmation biases, utilize thought and a willingness to consider new info, dispense with emotion and popular opinion from their social crowd, and seek truth over popularity.
Doing so will preempt the OMB crowd from the future tremendous embarrassment of being publicly exposed as both lazy and stupid.
Best regards.

Dear spooneye®,
Don’t be afraid of new information that tramples your previous beliefs about J6.
NJDEV’s post and link is based on the (2 years past due) release of Capitol Hill Police video & audio clips -and- selected additional info.
Nobody likes being outed as having been deceived. It’s embarrassing … especially when done so publicly.
The real anger from the Orange Man Bad crowd should be directed at the numerous ‘credible’ sources of information that kept the OMB crowd in the dark in order to manipulate the public.
The MSM, federal govt agencies, crony capitalist congressional representatives who were afraid that Trump would destroy the cooked laws that give license for congress to accumulate huge wealth by means not available to non-politicians, and the politically ambitious self-interested J6 committee … it is this group who has conspired to disinform the OMB crowd.
Those evil bastions did a great job of it.
If everyone would challenge their own confirmation biases, substitute thought for emotion, be brave enough to refuse to reflexively ‘fit in’ with their social group’s ‘popular narrative’ and stand up for truth, then the revelatory news such as detailed in NJDEV’s post would be welcome … instead of embarrassing.
Enjoy your Saturday evening.

I'm unclear on the hypocrisy. I'm saying criminals and traitors should be pepper sprayed, smacked, shot, etc. after they bust down barricades and invade our gov't buildings, especially if they're trying to stop the democratic process itself.

That group outside the White House wasn't calling for Trump's murder, nor did they storm the barricades, nor did they try to break into the White House. There were hundreds there vs. thousands at the Capitol. The RNC incident wasn't the one you're citing.
You're cheerleading excessive force against the BLM protesters yet bemoaning police using it on Jan. 6. That's partisanship.

I’m not “cheerleading” anything except against the blatant hypocrisy on here. You all have said and/or implied numerous times that Trump/MAGA people deserve whatever they get. Your attitudes and words are exactly what keeps them going.
You were fanboying hard when Trump had them clear em out for his photo op. I remember those debates.
MAGA kids who stormed the Capitol do deserve whatever they get, and they're lucky more of them didn't get Babbitted. She deserved it.
I don't want to see you ever pull another "if he had just listened to the cop" the next time an unarmed black dude gets killed by police.

Peaceful protests are protected forms of speech.
Barricades were set up to define the line which should not be crossed.
When the first misfired teargas release wafted to the crowd, the crowd’s agitation … further instigated by federal agents who were imbedded in the part of the crowd near the barriers … was justifiably characterized as being stimulated by the law enforcement authorities.
No such allegations of law enforcement instigated violence from the Miriam of 2020 George Floyd protests have been levied. Indeed, there were instances of REACTIVE unjustified (highly) excessive use of force by law enforcement authorities during the 2020 GF riots. These REACTIVE displays of police violence exacerbated at least one already bad situation (Portland, OR immediately comes to mind.)
With regard to J6, the riot instigation has now been established as result of PROACTIVE deployment of impact munitions and tear gas.

Law enforcement doesn’t have the right to instigate peaceful protests into violent ones via deployment of weaponry.
Dinner time for me … have a good Saturday evening.

NJDEV6, I am going to respond to each of TNet’s REAL J6 deniers one by one.
As is obvious, the REAL J6 deniers ingested the entirety of the ‘Trump led insurrection’ feces. Their abnormal systems incorporated all of that excretory waste into their brains. It’s no wonder that their responses and retorts to your original clip are also FOS.
Thanks for your innate good will, as evidenced by your willingness to subject yourself to criticism by enlightening TNet’s indoctrinated lefties that it wasn’t Snickers bars that the MSM, the deep state members of Congress, and the J6 committees had been feeding to them.
