Trevor and the Jags

Trevor will win at least one Super Bowl. It’s going to happen eventually, I’m 100% on that.
But the thing is, the AFC is just loaded more than it ever has with QBs. Even when you forget Mahomes, Burrrow, and Josh Allen, you still have Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Aaron Rodgers now, and Tua.
This isn’t counting any of the QBs that are coming out of college this year and in the next couple years.
Lot of great QBs, how soon should Jacksonville expect at least a Super Bowl appearance? They already came close to beating the Chiefs on the road in this Divisional round last year, hopefully they’ll get farther.

Luckily for them the AFC South is pretty terrible. Everybody just drafted new QBs as well so the Jags should be able to get into the playoffs consistently for the next few years, which is half the battle. Getting past the murderers row in the playoffs will involve a bit of luck as well as great cap management.

You’re right, Anthony Richardson might really do well in Indy though. Watching his film, I didn’t even see that type of athleticism in Cam Newton when he was drafted. I think if the Colts use a play action offense with a lot of bootleg plays that give Richardson the option to throw short or run, it will work.
But the Jags are on top in that division.

Anthony Richardson is the last player I would worry about. I wouldn't even bet he is still in the league in 5 years ....... at least at QB.

I don't have any faith in the Jaguars. They need too much talent. If they win a super bowl, it's going to take some better drafts than this year's.

Hard to have faith for any of the 32 teams except for Kansas City.

The Length of his Rookie Contract

Would probably be the best time from a team standpoint so...about 3 years if that?
I believe they are getting better pieces around him that give him a shot at making the big game. What helps is being in the AFC South and their schedule.
I've heard some pundits claim they could be in the running for the 1st seed on paper. Will it happen? I'd love to see it.
One thing for TL that I'd consider is possibly moving to the NFC - Outside of Jalen Hurts who popped last year, who exactly scares you as a QB in that conference? IMO NFC would be the easier route to the Super Bowl since the AFC is so heavy with QB talent.
(Of course, it could totally be different by the time TLs contract is up for renewal)

The Jags are a long way from a Super Bowl but they certainly were better last season.

They need someone like Nuk running routes, and they need a better defense if they're going to make a deep run.

They need an upgrade at WR and TE
But they'll get there.
