I have a question about all these teams still being able to sign kids who enter the portal. Are these teams withdrawing scholarships from other athletes? Alabama is being decimated and these top schools (GA, FSU,Texas etc) are grabbing them up after already signing huge classes. How does this happen?

Probably the same for those other teams as well. They can also just have guys walk on and get them an NIL deal to cover the cost of attendance.

they dont have to meet the 85 scholarship threshold until the fall so they have time to decide which scholarships to renew or not renew
