Transfer question

There have been a lot of guys that have placed themselves into the “Tranfer Portal”. Do they have a certain date where they have to make a decision on which school or is it just open?

I think it is open for the player. The school can cancel the scholarship at the end of the semester though.

The ones that have done that this early are trying to go ahead and transfer this semester so they can participate in spring ball with their new team. They have transfer and be in classes this semester so they only have a short period before they are eligible to take classes. remember each school has a deadline for registering for classes.
