pictures, make me angry every time I see them. Our coach takes the time to pose with "fans" for pictures, and they reward him by making him the intentional butt of their joke.
They got their just reward, by us hanging seven in a row on them, which would have been eight, had they not chickened out in 2020.
It would be interesting to see how Karma has visited the young woman in this photo in the years since this was taken. Notice I did not use the honorarium term for her.

List could go on and on! Go Tigers!

Williams gets my vote, too. There was never a more entertaining TD than when Mike showed the coot how it felt to score a TD.

The Chickens thought they had won! "The Catch" came after the Gamechicken players had lifted their jerseys in front of the cameras to show their "No Cigar Today" t-shirts!
Of note: Rod Gardner with "The Catch 2" was great as well!

Ben Tillman condemned South Carolina College and tried to have it closed down throughout his political career. Many have offered this as the basis of “The Chicken Curse” as he held them as personally responsible for the ruin the War Between the States brought upon the state of South Carolina and in particular, the poor whites who he felt bore the brunt of the fighting as well as the revenge of the Union victors. He hated the elitism and snobbishness of the South Carolina elite whom he called the "supercilious Bourbon class" who he said went to SCC and The Citadel. He felt the SC government was run by SCC and The Citadel graduates who were “ignorant, extravagant and lazy.” When he later became governor, he attempted to close down SCC entirely and almost succeeded. Without Ben Tillman, there would have never been a Clemson College. The targets of Tillman's oratory were politicians in Columbia and the Conservative elements based in Charleston and elsewhere in the low country of South Carolina. His implacable disdain for them was formidable. Through letters to newspapers and stump speeches, he decried the state government as a pit of corruption, and that The Citadel was a "military dude factory" that might profitably be repurposed as a school for women. He despised the SCC whose alumni he felt got South Carolina into the ruinous war it had just experienced. It has been said that Tillman loathed SCC so much that his imprecations were directed towards not only their alumni, but, also the school itself. In short, he felt they embodied a proclivity to mediocrity.

Walk-ons. I still remember the little meeting ceremony they had when he got awarded a scholarship. Paraphrasing and supplementing Dabo:
"This ole boy don't look nothin' like a football player, but get him on the field, and he will stick a dagger in your opponents heart."
As the Coots and Nick Saban slowly nod their heads in agreement.
If we could only have kept Renfrow here longer than the fifteen years we had him, we would have been unstoppable.
