That's funny stuff right there with Bama ahead of Georgia. Poor guy needs to take up another job.

Bama beat Georgia straight up on neutral ground.
UGA vs FSU was a farce and shouldn't have even taken place. Taking anything away from that game for either team is folly.

He’s doing his job well imho.
Voters for AP either are obligated or “gentlemen’s agreement” to keep the final four CFP teams in the top four of the final AP poll.
Hence why TCU was #2 in final AP last year after getting bludgeoned

This is one guys hand written poll. I get that it’s a body of work, but when you have 2 teams right next to each other, the one that won the game should be ranked higher.

Then we should be ranked ahead of Notre Dame.

hence my comment about "full body of work"...if he thinks a team is 7 spots better than another even though they lost to them, there might be some logic to it....but when you literally say one is 13th and the other is 14th, yet the 14th place team beat the 13th, you don't know what you are doing....

No way FSU should be 6th. Maybe 10th at the best. Bad horrible losses matter.

Pretty sure everybody in the top 25 could beat that version of FSU.

Exactly my point. FSU is no longer a good team, and they proved it on the field. The pollsters will probably feel sorry for them and keep them in the top 10, but that is simply wrong after their game proved their team doesn't belong in the top 20. Horrible losses matter (or they used to anyway).

He must be using wins/losses to determine this. If you really rank at the year end the top 25 Fl State would have a hard time being a top 25 team. Liberty was no match for Oregon and should not be rated high. Where do you think FL State should be ranked at year end?

the last team that FSU put on the field was a poor JUCO squad. Unless this is a legacy award for the season and not a true mirror of the teams as of the last game, they need to be around 40th. Syracuse and Vandy would have beat the trash that they put out there.

Of course it's a legacy award for the entire season. It is by design.

So FSU is omitted from the CFP due to an injured QB...

and then doesn't drop in the polls hardly at all after the biggest beat down in bowl history largely due to player opt-outs.
