Took Daddy To The Game Saturday

Just like he took me to my first game in 1985 against Georgia Tech.
Daddy is 81 now and don’t get around too well since his hip replacement surgery. But Daddy moved back home to be closer to his alma mater- and his hometown. And he’s spent a ton of money on them season tickets, and a parking pass- so he wasn’t missing this game- not against our rivals.
We hooted and hollared- especially when our boys was on defense. But it made no difference. Daddy turned to me and said “Them boys couldn’t tackle

He wasn't wrong. Haven't seen Clemson not being able to tackle in a long, long, time. Pork Chop Goodwin needs to go.

My dad passed a few years ago but seeing the Tigers in shotgun formation when they only needed a yard or two used to drive him crazy. He called it "give up football" (retreating 5 or 6 yards to pick up 1) He was as old school Danny Ford football as they come.
