I’m not saying I want to see BS like we saw in other rivalry games, but I miss the days of Boulware, Mike Williams, etc when we saw more fire in the rivalry.
We need to do better recruiting in-state so we have more guys that know what the rivalry is and means to people in SC. Not to mention we miss out on a lot of good players because we are recruiting in California, Texas, etc instead of our own backyard.
It’s not a coincidence that Sellers played out of his mind. He knows the rivalry. And wanted it more than some others.

For that matter it seems like our coaches don’t really care if we lose. We spend more time congratulating opposing coaches and their families than we do defending our stadium. Pitiful and shameful.

Nah that sheet is overated; get better players than them irrespective of where they come from and you win. They won because we couldn't tackle their QB and ours made a bone headed decision with the game on the line. Period end of story; it wasn't about "want to".

The one thing we have lost is that imposing edge. Teams aren’t afraid of us anymore. The intimidation factor is no longer the advantage it used to be.

This is true. I remember when some teams were beat before they stepped on the field with us. Now they think they’re gonna win.

Same thing happened to Tyson, Tigers, and Alabama.
We didn't capitalize on our success.
People don't understand how far busting on DJU set this organization back. And not firing Wes with Streeter.

Critical moment in the game. The play was called to 9 in the end zone; if it's not there you throw the ball through the end zone. That is what he was coached to do, Dabo explicitly said that. He tried to go off scr ipt and throw it to 7 underneath; it's similar to how he went off scr ipt against Miami with the game on the line last year.
Didn't know that scr ipt was a bad word

Sellers was an NC fan. He didn’t care about the rivalry until he went to Scar.
The rivalry isn’t the relevant issue. Effort and coaching is.

It’s easy to see our players, coaching and even a lot of our fans don’t care about beating the coots as much we use to. Heck dabo has lost the last 2 out of 3 years to them….hes just fine still collecting his $11M a year. Sad but true!
