The offense is playing pretty poorly right now.
Why make it something it's not. Don't let your feelings about Clemson get in the way of what you're seeing right now. Us again struggling against a mediocre (at best) football team.
It's okay if you're okay with not looking very good and/or losing, but there's no need to get all raw at folks who are talking about the football game on a football message board.
Right?

I agree they look very Rusty and mediocre-at-best against a very mediocre team. I can see why the media currently frowns upon us so much. It is what it is. Let's just hope the Tigers can get it going

Perhaps because people overreact? We have nearly 300 yards in the 1st half, and had one drive ended early due to Lawrence making a poor decision, and another drive ended in the red zone with another poor decision by Lawrence. That's not even to mention settling for a FG earlier in the game when Lawrence passed up an easy run for a first down, and then made a poor throw on the same play.

Because we have dynamite players that Dabo recruited! Not because of our OL coaches! They have no strategy when we need to change things up & they consistently call the same plays that doesn’t work so therefore our QB has to scramble & run the ball homself & could possibly be badly hurt & not be able to play. So go figure that!!

Not overrated but grand Jeff have not done a goon job of being innovative this year. You always ad new plays and tweaks to improve your offense. We call the same plays and hope other defenses can’t stop it. Well they are wise to it. I hope this off season they do some research and add some stuff to improve the potency of this offense

Including appearances in the CFP every one of those years, 3 national championship appearances, and 2 national titles.
I don’t like every play call either. I wish we would attack the middle of the field more, and throw to the tight end more. But the guy obviously knows what he’s doing. No way you can call him overrated given the results we’ve had since he became OC.

Deficiencies on offense are glaring. TL’s decision making this year, no middle field threat, and the unwillingness to stick with the run.
Mind you this is a first half and certain games criticism.
The RPO’s need to be dialed back to Tony contolling the game. Not Trevor.
We gotta put more receiving options on the field for him. Right now it is Ross and Higgins and sometimes Amari. 90% of which are not attacking the middle of the field. Teams are figuring this out and taking Higgins and Ross away.
Does not matter this week, but could haunt us at some point. Really hope we get some things figured out to be more efficient.

That staff has taken classes that the recruiting weenies have ranked around #10 on average over the last 4-5 years and won two National Championships. That is because (1) the staff recognizes talent better than the weenies or (2) the staff knows how to make players much better. Either way, I think the staff is doing a pretty darn good job, and Elliot is a critical part of that staff.
