If Texas wins on Saturday, get ready for the Sugar Bowl

Otherwise, it is the Peach Bowl.
Either way, we will play a top 10 SEC team.
The good news is that this assures that the administration at Clemson will know where out football team stands against the top half of the SEC.

Why go to New Orleans when you can save $ staying at home and stay on TNet?

The Sugar only choices are Clemson or Big 12 runner-up

The Big 12 runner-up might be a basketball school that lost their last 2 games of the year.

Do you really think the administration care where we stand against the top half of the SEC? They only care where we stand against the entire SEC in academics.

Did you, a longhorn fan, really just dig up a 2 1/2 month old thread on a Clemson board to say "I told you so" regarding a clemson game.

Here are the facts:

You have to be in the top 14 to be eligible.
The first 8 spots in the BCS will go to ND, SEC Runner-up, and the 6 conference champions.
The remaining 2 spots will go to ACC, Pac 12, or Big 12 runner up. (only two teams may go to BCS from a conference).
Pac 12 runner-up is likely in.
The only eligible teams left are Clemson and the Big 12 runner-up.
If Texas wins, the Big 12 runner up will be a basketball school that lost their last 2 games of the year.

Big East and Big 10 runner-ups are too far back.
Mid-Major Champion is too far back (assuming TX wins and moves ahead of Kent State).
