It's time for the other conferences to stand up to the ESecPN/Big10 mafia

They're monopolizing football for their benefit $$$$. Satan, I mean Sankey, pushing for automatic berths for 4 SEC/Big 10 teams in the CFP is ridiculous. He just recently said that conference politics, not football, were driving the CFP talks? Well, what the heyll is giving 4 automatic berths, if not conference politics?

We know Phillips is a good little squire (effing idiot) and will agree to anything to keep his job and the ACC intact. So with no spine, he can't stand up to anybody. The media is in lockstep and is no help whatsoever.

Somebody somewhere needs to grow a pair. Go Tigers!

Right after the SEC took in Oklahoma and Texas there was an “Alliance.” That lasted about five minutes until “Alliance” partner B1G turned on the other partners and took in USC and Oregon.

It is simple really. Look at the attendance, tv viewership and records of the ACC, Big10, Big12 and the SEC over the last 3 years and defend your position of why the Big10 and SEC should not receive more auto bids than the ACC and Big12. Bottom line is regardless of whether the bids are automatic or at large, the Big10 and SEC will wind up with more Playoff teams than the ACC and Big12. Unless the ACC and Big12 win more games, they will continue to get fewer bids. It is really simple.

That’s fine as long as it’s not “guaranteed”. Give the top 2 in each conference a guaranteed spot and the rest are seeded based on cfp ranking. The other thing that should be required is we’re going to this is that every p4 conference team must play another p4 conference team in the regular season. My preference would be 2 games. This would help avoid the circle jerk the sec has contrived since the bcs started.

You should know logic doesn't work on this board.***

The SEC/B1G want 4 bids so they can expand conference championship weekend and make another 10M in TV revenue. This would create an even larger gap that will only make it harder to “win more games”.

The ACC has 3 teams who can compete on talent and another 3 showing a willingness to compete. The ACC needs 3 spots to stay competitive. Otherwise the gap will grow teams will leave and auto bids will be reduced at the next look in.

Let me make it simple for you...no team should get an auto bid unless they are

the conference champion. OR the 2 teams that make the championship game of each P4 conference get a bid.

How would that have worked in the basketball scenario when just a few years ago the ACC was light years ahead of the SEC. Would they have agreed to having eight auto qualifiers from the ACC and only 4 from the SEC? I don't think so. Why should we agree when no one knows what the power of conferences will be in 5 or 10 years?

I think the Big 12 and ACC are joining forces to work together to battle the evil empires.

It’s not just them we are fighting. We’re fighting Disney and Fox media. They have pushed the narrative for so long that most believe it’s true. I dunno what the answer is. Maybe win more championships and games than they do? It can and has been done.
