The refs missed a facemask call that would have gave Georgia a first down. There was no offsides on the blocked punt that I could tell. Huge call?
I had no dog in the fight but I have to admit I was pulling for Ga. but didn't really care.
Did I miss the sec chant?

Refs missed a PI against Tee Higgins in our game... would have given us a first down, or TD if not PI. oh well. Refs gonna ref

been called false start on Bama which would have been a dead ball foul with Bama re-kicking so the worst they got hosed there was 10 yards of field position. Agree they missed the facemask but didn't they also miss a facemask on UGA defense? Can't remember exactly when that was. They also missed a shove to the head of Fromm after a QB read option run late in 3rd qtr early 4th qtr. They weren't near FG position though so hard to tell how much that helps UGA.
They missed a ton of calls against Bama in our game last year too (multiple targeting calls) so it's not anything new.

that offsides was huge... if anything it was a false start, but that woulda/coulda put uga up 27-7 (i believe).. as great as bama is, i doubt that overcome that deficit.

And you missed the most detrimental call. They missed a false start by Alabama on the 4th down touchdown throw. I didn't see it either and the announcers missed it, but I saw a replay and the wide receiver was clearly moving forward before the snap.

The UGA DB absolutely tackled the WR that was set up to catch the pass at the back line before Ridley got in there. So offsetting penalties.

The play would have been stopped with the false start, but regardless they would have had to do it again. You are going to have plays go both ways, but I did think the more blatant misses and crucially timed ones worked for Bama. Doesn't mean they would still not have won. They are awfully good at adjusting to the situation.

You forgot to mention the third quarter TD awarded to ga when #4's heel was clearly in contact with the white out of bounds marker. Just thought I would point that out.

What WEOWN said is spot on. There will be missed calls and bad calls in every game, you've just got to overcome them. In our game we didn't do several things well enough, and you can't focus on a questionable non-call in the endzone and blame the loss on that. Same last night

Oh yea....Definitely the refs fault that UGA went Interception, punt, punt, punt, and punt on their last 5 possessions..
They definitely missed some calls but they gotta work around that...Happens every year...

We simply lost the game. Officiating was poor but it evens out in the end. It was a good year for us but in the end, we simply are not there yet. Those folks have won 5 nattys in nine years and if wasnt for you guys they would have 6. We will be back I hope.
