Its way to early for bowl matchups

However, Clemson and Oregon State in the Sun bowl. Would that not be poetic justice for DJ to get a chance at redemption?

It would be living proof that we made the correct decision in making the change. Regardless of how Cade is playing, or this team, DJ was not the answer to our issues. Cade may not be wither, but it was past time for DJ to move on. JMO

I have to agree, with the two games that DJ played when TL16 was out with covid, plus the two seasons that he had after him playing as a backup, his time as the starter got worse with every game he played. Replacing him was the right decision, he should have been replaced even sooner, and if he had been, Cade would have been better prepared to start this season!!!

Except if we get to play USC! I would love to face off against the Trojans!
Otherwise, please keep us East of the Mississippi against an SEC for please.

I wouldn't mind going out and playing at the Rose Bowl. My Daughter and son-in-law lived a few blocks from the Rose Bowl while she was in Grad School. I always thought it would be fun to go to a Clemson game there.

Pit HC Lincoln Riley against OC brother Garrett Riley, that probably wouldn't be the best choice for either team IMO. Pitting brother against brother is never good for the family atmosphere, and personally I don't think that would be the best thing for sports, for the folks promoting it maybe, family is a lot more important than the greed of whoever would be promoting it!!!

It's a bit early for bowl predictions. Let's get eligible vs GT next week first, then see if we can finish out strong against UNC and Cola first. Then talk predictions.
As for these 3 predicted match ups, I'd rather see us play Auburn than either USC or Oregon State. I really don't want to deal with the drama of DJU vs his old team. USC I'd almost be down for, they don't have a defense and we do, but I'd be nervous in that game. Auburn would be fun, it's an old Rivalry and one that is both winnable and doesn't set up for any real drama afterwards.

It's not my call though obviously and I'll support our tigers and root for them either way.

Had to chuckle at "red hot Auburn".....

Winning over Miss. State and Vandy does not make a team "red hot".
Would prefer the "out west" matchup...
USC would be fun. If it has to be Oregon St., so be it.
If not that, the Gator Bowl sounds better than the Mayo bowl.

Mayo sounds better with a BLT, it does nothing for me as far as a bowl game!!!
