Hard to understand how anyone could see it differently …

… a lot of speculation and frankly “wishful thinking” on the part of many pundits hyping FSU this summer.

Groundhog Day with maybe a very slightly better outcome for FSU.

I don’t think this just pertains to FSU, but he said what most pundits are not:
- Clemson returning its best QB from last year - Should be better on Defense - Will Shipley returns - Clemson plays FSU (ND & UNC) at home - Clemson hired the #1 OC in the nation
We still have to prove it but if this was Alabama coming off a 11 win season people would be talking about the best team of all time.
Not to mention:
- The best LB duo in the nation - Returning multiple NFL draft picks on defense - More talent on OL than 2016 or 2018
Can’t wait for kickoff. This year could be very exciting…

Thankfully, Dabo is too smart to worry about FSU now. Duke will be a bigger test than many people think and a good, smooth start with our new offense will start the train rolling.

That takes nothing away from what Norvel has done at FSU and I think they are on the way to becoming a great team again, perhaps rivalling Clemson, but I think we are a better team. If Klubnik and Shipley escape injury, we will go back to the playoffs. Will we beat the 'Dawgs or 'Bama? I think we have a good chance.

Speaking to the FSU roster and nothing else. They have very talented 1-deep, their 2nd string is a dramatic step backwards. Their WR's Coleman and Wilson will be a problem for us, our pass rush will need to be lights out to force the ball out early. If they incur just a few injuries they will be in trouble. As for their coaching and scheme, we will see.

Take care of Duke first ( no looking ahead ). beat a CSU team like an elite team should, then take out Florida Atlantic then you can prepare for Florida State.

I think it's likely that we don't play FSU in our conference championship. My take is we'll run the table and they'll stumble against somebody like Pitt or NC ST. I bet we end up playing Pitt , or UNCheat or even Miami 🤔

According to recruiting rankings Miami is the team we should have a challenge from not FSU. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them take a big step up from where they were last season for sure.
We will be ready for the lucky team that plays us in the ACC Championship.
It might be Louisville or Wake Forest. Wake has the best coach outside of Dabo in the ACC.

Don’t be deceived by the media. Building up FSU gives them something more interesting to write and talk about which generates more views, clicks, etc. Marketing returns are much better which equals more $$$. We’re going to stomp them. End of story.

I loathe Joel Klatt but every once in a while he pulls a take out his #### that actually makes sense. This is actually one of those times so I will give credit where credit is due.

On FSU being ‘back’ (“ready”). What about their season last year shows that they’re back? Their roster has certainly improved over the last couple years and they’ve used the portal well, but how can anyone look at what they did last year and think they’re back yet? That run at the end of the season was a run over not very good teams. They’re certainly getting better player wise and Norvell is developing them for sure, but I’m not sold on them yet. Feels like everyone just wants them to be, b/c they’re tired of the same old CU/UGA/UA/OSU lately and ready for someone to knock them out, sorta like everyone wanted Miami to be back preseason last year. Then the season started and it didn’t take long…
