I still laugh at the boy's team of 15 year olds that beat the USA women's soccer team. I am surprised that the boys did not demand as much money as the professional women soccer players!

I would imagine most decent high school basketball teams would dominate a team of the seven best women basketball players of all time. They would be dunking all over the women and just dominating on defense. I would expect the score along the lines of 100-30.

When you hear those women complaining in interviews about being underpaid and you hear the way the media tells that story it’s total BS and propaganda. The women were offered the exact same contract as the men. They turned it down because it was basically commission versus guaranteed salary. The women get paid a guaranteed amount of money year-round in the form of a salary. The men do not.
That was one of the main reasons the women lost their federal court case and the judge even pointed out that the women were not, as they claim, asking for the same as the men. They were asking for more. They wanted to cherry pick the best aspects of their contract and the men’s contract. They wanted the guaranteed money but they also wanted to be paid as much as the men.
They had the option of two contracts. The contract they have with guaranteed money or the same contract as the men. They chose the guaranteed money. So when you hear them crying on TV and you hear the media talking about how they’re being taken advantage of because they are women it’s 100% total BS!
And that’s before you take into account that women’s soccer is huge in America, but globally no one cares. Whereas men’s soccer is the biggest sport in the world. The revenue generated by the women is a fraction of the revenues the men generate.
The only reason the LPGA is still operating is because it is subsidized by the PGA. The only reason the WNBA exists is because ESPN and the NBA subsidize it.
Interestingly, however, on the pro tennis circuit the women make more money than men. But the women’s circuit has also been more entertaining and more competitive than the men since probably the 90s.

The thing with women getting the same prize money in tennis is they only play best of three sets instead of best of 5. Especially nowadays when we’ve been enlightened to the fact that gender is just a social construct and there’s no difference between men and women, they really should have to play best of five sets. To be fair.

I think we should just get rid of male and female sports and let women compete against men and boys and see what happens. Of course we know what would happen which is why girls and women have always had separate sports. This is why the whole transgender situation shows just how insane and irrational the Democrats and the media have become.
Letting transsexuals play sports against girls and women is destroying decades of progress made by title IX. but they don’t care because it’s 100% political and about power! I’ve been saying for years and years that Democrats don’t care about blacks Hispanics homosexuals women etc. they don’t care about any of those people. Identity politics is about power and control! That’s all it is all that has ever been and all that ever will be! The left only cares about power! They are authoritarian‘s and covid has opened the eyes of millions of moderate Democrats the past two years. I watched on YouTube about an hour ago Tulsi Gabbard speaking at CPAC. And she was 100% spot on!

gender equality is because of Billie Jean King and the efforts to make women tennis popular since as far back as the 70s. It was the only women's sport to be given the same platform and attention as the men's game as they play at the same event during grand slams.
Attention creates interest. As can also be seen in women's MMA when UFC does joint main cards with women's bouts as well, the women get as much attention. For a while, Ronda Rousey was the biggest name in the sport male or female.
Tennis and MMA have it figured out as far as giving the platform.

The WNBA has been promoted like crazy by the liberal media, by ESPN, etc. But nobody watches because women just suck. It’s painful watching these women play basketball because they’re grossly uncoordinated. I guarantee you there are JV boys basketball teams that could beat a WNBA team.
The LPGA has been promoted for years and years and years. No one‘s interested. Annika Sörenstam had no chance of competing against one of the weakest fields on the PGA tour.
Serena Williams is the greatest woman that has ever played tennis. The liberal media lost their minds over John McEnroe‘s comments but he is 100% correct! If she played on the men’s circuit she would be lucky to be ranked in the top 500.
Sports is about excellence. Sports is the ultimate meritocracy. Women in general don’t care about sports. Men do. Men want to see excellence!
It’s just like politics. People blame men for why there aren’t more female politicians. Women make up over 50% of the population in America. But women don’t like politics. Politics is an ugly business and women in general are not suited for it because women are in general non-confrontational. Politics is the epitome of confrontation. If women cared about politics there would be more female politicians than men politicians. Sports is the same way. If women cared about sports women’s sports would be popular!
The cold hard truth that people like you don’t want to admit is that women simply don’t support other women be it sports politics or anything else!
