Don't understand the coaches that voted this week.
Clemson falls a spot after winning by 49
(yes I know the first half was not up to the fans liking), but yet Duke wins by 42 and jumps 4 spots.
I've always known that there were Clemson haters inside the coaching ranks but never knew it was this obvious.
Hope the Tigers keep winning and show them all what this team can accomplish.

You probably had coaches turning in the ballot last week before Duke had beaten us or didn’t even realize it. Colorado is the other team that moved above us and Wisconsin dropped below. All that seems like adjustments for what other teams did not a knock on us. Remember it’s a collection of points that determines the rankings so you could have a team jump you for example by having 10 coaches move Colorado or Duke up 4-5 spots but even still individually those teams still ranked behind Clemson

That's where I'm at also, keep winning and win out, then who gives a stinking crap about who was ranked in what spot the 2nd week of September. Who, nobody, and not many of our own fan base will remember where we were rank September 10th 2023, and none of the outsiders will remember making it a moot point.

It's really not complicated. Clemson was supposed to absolutely demolish one of the worst FCS teams. However, for an entire half, they struggled. 24-17 at the half. Yeah, in the second half, once CSU's starters were exhausted and Clemson was able to rely on its depth, they scored very rapidly. But the fact that the offense was completely ineffective for half the game against one of the worst college teams is a bad look. Lafayette isn't good either, but Duke dominated them the entire game. They outscored them 35-0 after their first drive. It's a different look entirely. Again, not complicated.

Folks, the sooner we come to grips with tbe fact tbat our program is no longer a top 10 team, the sooner it will makes sense. People on here continue to compare us to Bana, UGA, Ohio State, and others, but it ain't close right now. Swinney took his eye off tbe ball and it's costing him dearly.

Exactly, none of the mention has gotten the crap beat out of them by a team like Duke, and if they had, I believe if they would have, they would be in the same chit hole as we're in today....
