I don’t think so. The format said the highest ranked conferences Champion. We are behind. Boise.
We are behind Arizona state and Iowa’s state.
Unless Boise loses and Clemson does win. Clemson won’t be top 4. Clemson will come in at 12th.

Arizona State or Iowa State's win would he less than Clemson's win. We could be at 4. BIG 10, SEC, BOISE, ACC then Big 12 would be 11 or 12th. If we beat #8 I think we move ahead of Big 12 winner and Bama would be out! Especially if SMU stayed in.

I think our win over a higher ranked SMU would propel us over the Big 12 champ. I also do not think the committee would penalize SMU for losing a conference championship game and they will remain in the top 12. This scenario would push Bama and Miami out.

Nah, Az St got royal screwed. They should have been ranked 11th this week. Didn't get blown out and beat a good BYU team that beat smu. No way Bama or ole miss should be above either Az State or Iowa St... at least not Az. Guess you could make the case for Iowa St. Miami should be 15th at best. Miami, zero ranked wins. Boise St should be above smu with just a 3 point loss to 1 ranked Oregon.
Committee doing what they always do. Bend the rulz to fit the narrative. Carolina should have jumped ole miss and Bama. What happened to the narrative that it matters "when " you lose, and the eye test. Frigging rigged.
