Grady Jarrett is a better person than he is a football player and a great ambassador of Clemson. I randomly met him once at LAX after his rookie contract year. The second he saw my Clemson ring his eyes lit up. Just a great, humble person.

I remember being down at home to GT with Steele as our coordinator. Tevin Washington was making us look silly ALL DAY, and the team had pretty much given up. Yet Jarrett was out there paying his guts out to the bitter end while Kevin Steele was on the sideline oblivious to Johnson eating his lunch. I do not think I had ever seen a kid play with that much heart in an orange uniform.

I met Grady on the sideline of the Clemson/GT game in Atlanta during his first or second year with the Falcons. I talked with him a little while and asked him if he was starting to get comfortable with the the Falcons and he said he was ....... guess that was an understatement! Glad he is doing so well!
