How did UNC end up with the most at 47m? They haven't won a thing for the ACC in football since 1980.
Still trails the B1G and SEC and about to get much worse.

It's still way below the schools and conferences that Clemson is trying to keep up with, and it still remains that Clemson is on a crash and burn level if we continue our spending to keep up with the SEC and BIG, Phillips is desperately trying to convince ACC schools that he's doing a good job bc he knows if the ACC collapses, so does his job and his paycheck...

The good news I guess is we have passed the Big 12 WITH Texas and OU and for those that talk about going to the Big 12 their payout drops to 31.7 million next year after OU and UT are gone.

You know it’s bad when they’re trying to make advanced analytics on simple math. If they want to get math-y they should make Phillips’ salary his base times the percent disparity in per team payout vs the big leagues

$48 M vs 70M
Whatever paltry increase vs $100 M
We either leave the ACC or we cease to be financially competitive

For today the numbers that matter are the real ones SEC $51,3 vs 44.8 so PER this report sec is only getting $6.5 m more per school. Future Projections do paint a much bigger disparity in the future but it doesn’t seem like gap has change much in last few years

I am very concerned about the future disparity if we stay in ACC, but pleasantly surprised the the gap has not widened yet.

The ole spin the math trick. When you are closer to the top, you have less room for improvement. This is the same as the state tracking student achievement from year to year. Smart students have a lower growth percentage because they are already near the top.
