That is great news. No offense to all the other great players this year, but Marcus is my favorite. He is the most humble and unassuming person you would ever meet (reminds me of CJ). I hope he makes an NFL roster. Finishing his career strong over the next 5 games (hopefully) will go a long ways towards that.

It was reported he had a stinger, so probably nothing serious short term. May require more extensive treatment in the off season, but he should be able to gut it out throughout the rest of the year. Just hypothesizing here.

Foot has been messed up all year from the surgery. Just going to take time to heal
Ankle got messed up on the same leg when he was chop blocked against GT. Just needs time away to get close to 100%

Multiple chop blocks by GT, and then a few to the same ankle against NCSU...it's clear both of those teams were trying to get him out of the game in hopes of slowing our pass rush and opening up the ability to run.

When M. Edmond comes back if he is still the play making CB he was at huge times last year; we are cooking with grease! I like all our CB; but I like Edmond's ability to seem to be around when the defense needs a big play! His 6'0 in coverage will be great as well; and he has unusually long arms. The NFL scouts will love those aspects about him; his only issue is his weight. But, you would never know it by the way he makes plays! This is huge very positive news for Tigers fans!
Even if Big Dex has to sit out the S. Carolina game; i'm cool w/it. If we have any chance versus Miami and other playoff caliber teams.............we will need his push up the middle. Push up the middle unlike off the edge gets QB's to where they could possibly move into a DE or crashing LB. It has been said my many QB's up the middle pressure is the most disturbing w/regard to throwing them off rhythm. You would need that versus say, B. Mayfield. I think maybe Christian Wilkins needs some time off too! DT's are most effective when they can disrupt the Line of Scrimmage. You need fresh legs to do that!

They'll all get a month off after Miami. Hopefully some of those guys who are banged up a little will get a break the next two weeks if we take care of business like we should. Need them near full strength for Miami.
Getting those guys in the secondary back will be huge for our defense playing like they did at the beginning of the year
