He loved Clemson, especially Clemson basketball. He was a family man who was well thought of in the textile industry.

His rebounding ability was legit. Our 1951-1952 team had three different players average double figures in rebounds. That's incredible, especially since it's rare today for anyone to average double figures in rebounds on the college level. For the 2020-2021 season we just completed, only 20 players in all of college basketball averaged double figures in rebounds.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Robinson family.

Prayers for Mr. Robinson's family.
We've lost a good man and a true Clemson legend.
