It's one thing for Clemson fans to notice the lack of development in certain areas bc we see all of every game that we play, but it's really bad when a talking head like a David Hale has noticed what our Tiger faithful has been seeing since Jeff Scott left, and that is our WRs hasn't been being developed under Grisham like they were being developed when we were noticed as WRU.
If people like Hale can see the lack of our WR's being developed under Grisham, rest assure that every coach we recruit against us have noticed the same, and they are using how our WRs are being developed against us.
I think that most Tiger fans has noticed the #1 reason we haven't made it to the playoff since 2020 was mainly bc our O Line wasn't doing a very good job, and the WR's wasn't being developed up to par. I believe that Dabo fixed the problem with the O line coaching, and IMO I believe that our WR development needs an adjustment also. Get Grisham some experienced help with WR development or replace him with a WR coach that has had years of experience with developing WR's bc over the past few years our WR's hasn't been what we were used to seeing. Well-developed WRs would also help Cade to be a better QB also...

Spot on! The fact that we had talent at WR and they didn’t develop is glaring and frankly I can’t understand why Coach Dabo hasn’t seen this. Maybe he wants to stick with Grisham because he was a former player. Who knows.

The player has to WANT to develop. With how quickly a lot of undeveloped players transferred, I think it was a recruiting miss on the players’ mentality more than ability.

I believe after this year alot of that chatter will quiet down. That wr room has to produce this yr. You could say Grisham is on the hottest but I also sense Swinney has gotten more involved. This will only help the situation.
Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!

It is a matter of putting the BEST players out there. How complicated can THAT be? Oh I forgot.. Dabo is honest to a fault. Depends on what he has already told last years players " they would see more reps this year. Oh well...

Wes Goodwin was billed as a mastermind defense coordinator, but his first year was not impressive. His second year was more as expected. I know that Riley has been offensive coordinator in other schools, but our expectations were probably unrealistic. There also seemed to be some difficulties with Austin as OL coach. If Garrett Riley can see the same kind of improvement in his second year as Goodwin had, we should be in good shape. I see us losing a close game with the 'Dawgs and winning the rest. We may face the 'Dawgs again and have a different outcome at the end of the year.
