I may be Old School, but this NIL stuff is souring my interest a little in Clemson sports. I get it, it is now huge business. Maybe not fair for coaches to make millions and kids 0. Just seems like the line is very blurred now between “amateurism “ and professional sports.

God email the ignorance of saying student athletes don’t make anything. They actually get paid a stipend. Their families get free travel room and board to go to ball games in the playoffs. They’re treated like kings. Yes we had 150,000 W they get in terms of benefits is estimated between 150,000 and $250,000 a year.
Ask the students who are having to work a job and going into debt with student loans if they think athletes are getting paid!
I think they should be able to take advantage of opportunities like other students. But it should be extremely monitored and regulated so that there’s not abuse. But this majority opinion this take that they’re not getting paid and they’re being taken advantage of it’s just ####### nonsense! It takes a special kind of stupid to think that. You have to have your head 3 feet up your ### because you’re not living in reality!
And the Supreme Court got it wrong. They showed they have zero fundamental understanding of economics especially the economics of college athletics. For 98% of college athletes, when their scholarship runs out there is no market for their labor. College athletics is not capitalism. It’s basically a form of Socialism. It’s redistribution of wealth from football and men’s basketball to pay for everything else!
And just like the fact that only 2% of football players will go to the NFL, a big a tiny percentage of coaches are making more than a few million dollars a year. This is just nonsense! And none of this existed 20 years ago. The money only got big in the last 20 years.
Almost every power five team has about 20 walkins. They are overwhelmingly probably over 90% white middle-class kids. Do you think middle-class parents, white middle-class parents, are paying tens of thousands of dollars a year for their sons to be exploited!
People like you and people at ESPN and all the people that think athletes are taken advantage of or exploited and aren’t getting anything that they are working for free you’re just not only ignorant but you’re either willfully ignorant or just dumb beyond belief!

Very wise move, IMHO.
I know nothing about this agency, but assuming it is a solid, reputable and ethical agancy, this seems like a great move.
Instead of working with individual companies, or even "specialized marketing companies" that have a niche market (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, et. al.) it makes a whole lot more since to sign with one agency and let them deal with the individual companies.
Example: There is a reason players and coaches sign with one guy (like Jimmy Sexton) rather than try and figure out 20 different companies to sign deals with. That is the agent's job.

... that’s the way to do it. The agents bring expertise to the table and can spend the time working deals, which allows to client (players) to just make the decision and it frees up their time to do other things.
Smart move DJ!

And, it makes great sense for DJ.
Anybody contacts him, he can say, "Call my agent."
And, he can use his dad. Tell his agent, "Run everything through my dad. I'll concentrate on football and he can let me know when I need to talk to you."
