on Friday means nothing at all because our pool will be decided Thursday. We either beat Miami and clinch the pool or Miami goes 2-0 and will play Saturday.

What if Louisville wins against Miami, who do we pitch against Louisville. Do you start Barlow in the Miami game as if it was your mid-week game? Then use your regular rotation for Friday. Interesting.

I think this is a great pool and position for us. We can beat both Miami and Louisville. Then we avoid both UNC and Wake until a potential championship game.
I’ll let coach determine the rotation but I think I would try a midweek starter against Miami but have a real quick trigger to pull if the early innings are difficult

With whoever our Tigers face, I really hope that coach Bakich has a plan to where he can send a starter in behind a starter if they're getting beat up early. Our starters would have to give me 7 solid inning before I would consider any of our relief pitching, plus I would need at least a half dozen run lead before I would call on any bullpen help. Our bullpen in 2024 has proven to be a loss for the team more times than not, and in post season play I wouldn't trust it for more than an inning or maybe two innings at most!!! In post season play you win, or you go home!!!

pitchers esp starters have pretty individual warm up routines, throwing a starter in the bull pen and saying "warm up, your in next batter" many times doesn't go well
