Encouraging exhibition win tonight.

Amazing that we have 16 kids on the roster this season. In Brad's first year he only had 9. Nuk walked on to make it 10 so they could have full 5 on 5 player practices. I was pretty enthused about who we had on our hands back then to take us up another level following Purnell, considering that hardship and Jerai Grant's big improvement that last season of his here.

Hope it kicks in this year.

Just like Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben. I'm sure racists love the fact that there aren't any black or brown people on food packages anymore except for Count Chocula, who is obviously white-coded despite technically being a colored fellow.

They haven't been the Indians since 2008, and for 2 years after that they didn't have a nickname at all.

Huge missed marketing opportunity.
Everybody would be talking about the Newberry New Berries.

Wolves is about as boring as you can get… besides the “Washington Football Team” lol

There is a reason you play an exhibition against a Newberry and that is to get everyone in the game and see what the scrubs can do if needed. Nothing gained by the starters against Newberry except to play someone else.

It’s an exhibition game. Nothing counts as far as stats or scoring average. This is exactly why it needs to be the same when The Football team plays Charleston Southern or whoever as well as all other Division I teams. Play these as a “preseason” game then get into the regular schedule.
