Excellent game. So important to win close games early. Our pitchers will gain a ton of confidence with this performance which should pay big dividends later in the year when we face the tough ACC schedule. Go Tigers!!

YEP, you can have a bunch of hitters in a lineup, but really good pitching defeats those hitters about 95% of the time, it's that 5% of the time that those hitters make good contact on the ball that you will need a good defense to defeat them. Your pitchers can't do it all every inning!!! So far our team is looking pretty good, hopefully they will get better, and learn something about their capabilities with every inning played, Go Tigers, it's a very long season!!!

I wish Monte would move Grice to 3rd in the order and drop Hawkins, Hawkins has gotten worse every year. Brewer, Ingle and Grice should be 1-2-3 in the order. Offense has to get it going, the pitching and bullpen have done their job. Can't rely on constant walks to get runs every time like Indiana did.

Completely agree that Hawkins should be moved down the lineup. I'm worried about the bats this year. Would be nice if Taylor can give us a boost the final month of the season. We're gonna need him.
