As per the obvious not much context but if I had to pull a nugget then Dabo has possibly acknowledged Cade as more of a thought than an afterthought with the "build on it and go from there" comment. It's slightly different than his previous take, more of a glad he got to play attitude before he watched film, ha. He also acknowledged the undeniable energy and poise Cade displayed when given the opportunity. I just think this kid is Watson type special with x factor intangibles. He's gonna be starting sooner than later this season. I love DJ and I think there's opportunity for him to be #2 and getting alot of snaps so it's not like Dabo has to take him behind the barn but Cade is special and we could win it all with him. I really believe that. Couple tune up weeks to get tempo flowing so should be some fun in the Valley. GO TIGERS!!!

I thought Cade looked great on his one drive, like everyone else. However I think it's crazy for Arm Chair QB's to pass judgement the future of the Clemson QB job, based on one drive. I believe that the coaching staff, has been watching both Cade and DJU thru Spring Ball, summer and Fall Camps. I think their choice is going to be made on all of that body of work as opposed to one drive. I don't have a choice and neither do those of you calling for an immediate change at QB, I just want the one that the coaches believe give us the best chance of winning the NATTY again.
