Even more odd to me is that the Buckeyes aren’t in the running. I guess he just wants out of Ohio.
I always kind of liked Tennessee until they hired Butch Jones. He always looked like his head was about to explode on the sidelines and somewhat like a dying fish. He cheated like a card sharp in an old western saloon.
Fat Phil may have cheated as well, but he was also somewhat likable

They had a splashy year last season (literally), but they haven't been nationally relevant since the Carter administration. Good on them, I guess, for letting their reach extend past their grasp.

I agree with you except the "since the Carter administration" thang. 1998 was Clinton's and the Dixie Mafia time. I only know this because I was left a dog by my mom's husband when they moved to Florida. His name was Champ. He would have been 30 or so when he died if your statement was correct. Just sayin
