I’d love to see this local talent stay at home as a Tiger.
It looks like Dabo really wants him to be a ETN type of back.
He’s creating a competition by talking about our rival, he has gotten some advice from $omeone.
It’s going to be competitive to start at RB no matter where you go, I like his confidence, he’ll have to work to back it up at this level.

I was about to say the same thing. I’d def take baker over this guy bc one minute we weren’t giving him enough love, now that we getting a great Oline class hes feeling much more loved even tho we offered another RB now. Seems like he’s tryin to back track his first statements lol

All of us would want any / all RBs that sign with us to be of ETN-type talent.
Reads like our staff would be glad if he verbally commits to us. How could anyone know for sure that he’d honor his verbal commitment? Heck, in this time of the NIL, how could anyone know team be sure that any verbal commit will end up following through and honoring his committment?

Oh child , no. Have you not been paying attention , lad ? They truly haven't had good defense since Spurlid gave 'em the slip.
We have two very good looking RBs already on our roster , one frosh and one sophomore.
I don't know if McGill would be instant impact , but he'd certainly give us another weapon i to the coming seasons.

They played good defense against us in their last two games against us.
If he watches both team’s games this year, then he’ll witness what really good defense looks like. He can also watch S.Carolina’s defense.

I say it was our defensive slips that allowed SC to win those two games , less than it being that they had a good defense. We scored enough in both games to win them if the defenses would have jist played a bit better.
Their defense o erall was ok , I wouldn't say great as Mcgill asserted.

The wanting to play for SC is troubling. Does he just want an offer to say he received one or does he want to play for a team that consistently under achieves. Mixed feelings on this guy.

He does sound cocky, and I don’t like some of the things he said but that could be part of being an alpha dog RB. If CDS does his due diligence and he wants him I would love to sign him. We need some guys with an edge to them.

Yep, reading the article I knew this guy would ruffle some feathers.
Agree though - I like to see dudes humble with a team player mindset coming in. However, if Dabo is willing to offer then I'm down to believe he may be worth it.
Personally (and probably no surprise based on other comments here), I feel like he's intentionally trying to drive up his value to get a bidding war going.

This guy is a bomb waiting to go off on whatever team he joins, and I don't mean that as a compliment. I busted out laughing when I read the part about his short "commitment" to Rutgers right after he talked about how much he knew Dabo wanted him. If I didn't know better, I would've thought this article was satirical. Even Shane Beamer doesn't seem very interested in this guy anymore, and that really ought to tell you something when you consider how low the bar is for loyalty and attitude amongst Scar recruits. I hope I'm wrong about the dude; maybe he's just got a bold sense of humor and he doesn't take himself too seriously. But based on the 3 articles we've seen on him so far, I see more red flags than Stalin's birthday party. I have a hard time believing he wouldn't cause far more trouble than he's worth within the program, just to transfer out after one semester.
