Not in so many words but from what I'm hearing, he's made several statements over the past month that's echoed the fact we don't have the right guys for, in his opinion, to play the teams on our schedule. Time will tell.

The teams on our schedule? You mean high school caliber ACC garbage? I think we have plenty of talent to beat the crappy teams in our schedule.

I haven’t been impressed with Allen. He’s had a spring training, a fall camp, and 75% of a season to implement his scheme and correct any issues. In a world with the transfer portal and blue chip recruits needing to be able to start as freshmen, that’s more than enough time.
I think I read somewhere that Clemson has been favored in every game this season. It sounds like there’s enough personnel to do better than 3-5 and giving up 35 pts. to SMU and 46 pts. to Duke.

It is unfortunate how recruiting has slipped in the past several years and Clemson is having to settled for the 3 star or lower. We need to use the portal more.
