While I dont disagree with anything said

Imagine being one of the kids on the team who is not a “dude” and reading this article. Just makes me feel sad for them. I hope they think they can be coached up to exceed expectations.

On that list of "dudes", half were 3* or less coming in out of high school. Only 1, Big Dex, was a 5*. So I assume if they aren't "dudes" now, with the right coach we can get them there!

Agree, we hav 97% of our 2025 team members n campus for Allen to coach! Maybe a Freshman or another transfer shows up before the season, but not likely. Our DUDES are here!
For $2 Million per year Coach Allen needs to yield a top 10 Defense, which is his job. The talent is here, the coaches have to deliver, and I am confident they can do it before the LSU game!
Go Tigers, Beat LSU!

I don’t feel sad for them. Make yourself a dude or we’ll bring one in. That has to be our attitude in this day and age to compete consistently at a top 10 level.
We still need game ready depth at each level of the defense and need to bring in players before the season. Some players will be coached up, some will be a better fit elsewhere or need more seasoning. Either way, we’re going to be praying for injury luck again without a few more roster upgrades.

What Clemson Does NOT Need

Is a Defensive Coordinator that runs the same style of defense that we've all been witnesses to for the past three seasons. It's nauseating to say the least. What we need is for Dabo to hire a DC that presents several formations and dials up different packages that plays to the strength of the roster and exploits the critical vulnerability of the opposing teams. It also wouldn't hurt to add in a bit more aggression and violence at the point of attack.
GO TIGERS! HIRE LEONHARD!

I heard that They won’t tell David because he let the cat out of the bag on the OC hire. I also heard that Saban is looking for houses in Pickens county. It’s just what I heard.

Well, TNET has been writing these same observations since Coach V left .. despite the smoke and mirrors, with a drop off of talent, recruiting and a bad hire at DC ..

Absolutely sits on these opinions, or at least doesn’t say them bluntly, until the guy is gone.

The only thing I don’t agree with is when we had Christian Wilkins I believe we moved him to defensive end one year… correct me if I’m wrong… I know our defensive ends arnt as good as we had when Christian was here but making an example of Peter woods going to defensive end is the same thing Wilkins did

Wilkins did a good job though. He lost and kept off the weight. He was a one of a kind though. No knock on woods. Hopefully he ends up being a first rounder too.

comments to my son n law during the Season that Woods had gotten “too big” and it seemed to have affected his movement, stamina and speed. He’s a “beast” for sure but wouldn’t hurt if he would shed about 30 lbs……IMHO of course. Looking for a stella year from him in ‘25 no doubt. I saw Saban in the 7-11 getting a Coke Zero and honey bun in Clemson a few days ago……well, the guy looked like Saban with a flimsy disguise on….but he didn’t fool me….😃😳🥴 (that should do it hehehe) Go Tigers….!!!! 🏈🏈🏈

The most confusing piece on TigerNet is the Scholarship page. First, the "commits" have signed and should be listed as incoming Freshmen. Second, there are 92 players listed but the number listed is 77 so the signees are not counted. The "new guy" gets correct information I hope.

I understand many argue Tom Allen is not an accomplished recruiter. This could be a detriment to hitting the ground running (if true).

Hope he brings 2 or 3 recruits with him! Also, Abdul Carter would be a huge get, but I think he's headed to the NFL!
