YES! Now go get about four or five more just like him and then another six or seven next year. Give Coach Luke the biggest, nastiest, smelliest, raunchiest of young men to ever Don the Paw. Do that and then get a few key pieces on the outside and we will get back to winning at the level we became accustomed to. Traditional football wisdom is that you build from the inside out. Bad programs and teams always want to get that wide receiver or quarterback in the first round. Go look at it Andy Reid NFL draft. Outside of Patrick Mahomes it's almost exclusively been a lineman in the first and second rounds. I used to love the sizzle as much as the next guy but I've learned over the year that it's guys like this kid and others that will make us winners. Bring in eight per year allow some to red shirt and eat and we're going to be just fine.

I agree. Its the basics that win. If you can run, then you can pass, then you can run. OL means,everything.

This may be the best article and interview that David has done. It's a microcosm of what it takes to get a recruit. It's also good insight into how to keep a kid around too.

Plenty of talented kids out there with high star ratings, but you have to put the puzzle together.

Once the line is fixed, Clemson can win it all with a QB like Kelly Bryant. Will not need a TL 16 or DW4.
