Might be a wet/windy day in South Bend. Keep your head up DJ, you will be good. We all know that DJ was having a bad day against Syracuse, it happens. Clemson 27-17.

Wile DJ runs sometimes...

Cade is a constant threat to run which changes the defense from 'DJ runs but his running isn't going to beat us,' to, 'this other guy has wings.'
'This guy has wings,' stops a DC's heart. I don't complain when he bails from the pocket too early because of the confusion it causes in the secondary. Teams practice to stop a DJ run but you can't practice and get fast enough to stop a 90mph knuckleball like Cade.

The Tigers are in great shape at QB. Probably more so than any other team in college football. If the Tigers fail it likely will not be a QB failure. It’s time for the “Frisbee Catching Dogs” to appear on the field. And it’s time for some “bone crushing sacks” too! The talent is in place. The coaching is there. The support is certainly not an issue. Time to roll up the sleeves and play a sixty minute game! This team can do that. Im counting on them to make my Saturday night one to remember. Go Tigers

Agree with that boss. Still waiting for Randall to have his coming out party as well as get back to beaux time. However, 23 starts and a seasoned junior, seems like every week, less wake, post game interviews is "I've got to get better" "make better reads" starts to sound like a broken record. Where are the wide open receivers from coverage busts like I see in the other games I watch.
As for defense, totally agree, still waiting on that dominating game where we totally shut down anything the O is attempting to do. Some of which imo is the lack of Bresee taking over a game like that fella from OSU did against Penn st. Understanding I'm NOT dissing on Bresee. He's hurting mentally as should be expected. Looking at you XT - this is that game where all the explosive talk comes to fruition.

“Frisbee Catching Dogs” ! That’s the word picture I’ve been looking for to pin down my confusion over what’s missing relative to championship teams. Can you teach that or is it innate? Nuke, Ross, Williams

I couldn't agree more. DJ runs like a plinko ball. I'm also reminded of the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. And I love the red bull reference. "The kid has wings".

I don't think the coaches will wait to late third quarter again if he plays bad.

He hit the nail on the head... Decision Making

My concern is that he himself calls it out; it has been an issue for 2 years. I'm convinced that his success as a freshman was due to the fact he was thrown to the wolves, not much time to think, he just reacted and you saw his natural talent come thru. Not much he's done since looks "natural"; hate to say it but it looks a lot like Sam Darnold "seeing ghosts". It is all mental.

Oh, I just don't know about DJ. I'd never kill a kid's dream, but he plays so inconsistently that it's scary. When he is on, he is ON, but if he gets rattled, it's terrible. I'm wondering if Clemson's program is too tough for him and he just simply cannot rise to the occasion, but maybe he needs to enter the portal, and try somewhere else, I mean look at Chase Brice, that kid tiptoed through the ACC and is now App State...not that that bodes well, but it's happened. I have to give DJ props on running the ball more this year, and his is talented, I'm just not sure he is the right one to lead the team.
