First, great win. We needed that. Am disappointed that Bennett didn't get to come back in the 2nd. He made the one mistake but only threw 17 pitches. I was hoping to see if he'd settle down and after going up 5-2 , thought it'd be a good chance to give him another inning or 2. Unfortunately I had to watch the game on mute. So if they said why he didn't, my apologies.

Yes, we all knew it was going to be pitch by committee. Thought Bailey looked good.

Crieghton not seeing the ball too good right now. He was streaky last season, so I look for him to get going. Bisetta looked much better tonight. I'd give him the nod Friday. What say you.

Ciufo probably back at ss this weekend but was impressed with paino... thinking paino back to 3rd and McCladdie at first. Gaffney is going to be good but McCladdie has to be in. DH priest or Gaffney maybe. Either way, I'd move Jarrell to 7 hole ciufo 8 hole. Purify 9th. Countdown to Friday. Go Tigers!!!!

It’s tough. Ciufo is a career .280 guy. He is great defensively. Purify as a freshman was a .280 guy. So our middle infield are .280 guys but make up for it defensively. I think that’s ok because you had Cam who is a career .360 guy and Listi about the same. Gaffney last year was another guy over .300. I think the only reason for Ciufo to be out is because Cam and Luke haven’t got hot yet. Both are around .280 so far this year. Purify is to vital to take out. Not only defense but speed and hustle. You have to go with your hot bats. McCladdie, Listi, Priest, and Paino have had hot bats. Even though Cam has been a little cold at the plate he’s too good and will get hot. That leaves with the choice of playing priest at 1st and Gaffney at catcher and taking JJ out. Or rolling with the lineup we had tonight and have Ciufo out. I think as Cam and Luke start seeing the ball better Ciufo will take back over short stop. Definitely feel better knowing we have depth!
