Even with current injuries included, this offense is worlds better than last year. I attribute it to offensive line play and receiver play. Both of those groups have improved drastically over last year.
As far as defense, when healthy we’re as good as years past, but our quality depth is not as good. This is a concern in tough games.
Overall this is a very good team that should make the playoffs and win one game. Because of the defensive depth I don’t think our ceiling is higher than that.

Yet another example of our staff's brilliance in recruiting. 247 had him as the 61st best Safety in the nation.

But here he is, with the potential to be the 1st LB taken next year.

Just my opinion. Obviously if a legit NFL scout says that it means a thousand times more than what I say. But I don't see the freakish speed and power intangibles with Woodaz to be close to the first linebacker taken in the draft even after next season. He's obviously a really smart player with the nose for the ball. I'm sure he's a great teammate and leader etc. But let's hold on a sec with that kind of talk. Hope he proves me wrong but I would say best case third round but more likely fifth round or later.
