Interesting to see “former teammates” in that article when he states he is undecided about going pro.

The statement was only talking about the "former teammate" DJ...not others.

I hate many of the changes that are impacting college football and the Clemson Tigers. Of course, I am old, I do not play, and my attitude is that of a fan, not a player or former player. There was a time when a player choosing for any reason to miss a bowl game was crazy, unheard of and intolerable.
But most of the current players might have a better grasp of the reality than I or many fans do. Once upon a time the bowl games were the ultimate prize in college football. Now, aside from the CFP, perhaps most of the bowl games are in fact simply exhibition games, more like the spring game than anything else. I wonder how long average bowl games have to live before they fold up and blow away?
I am not in favor of this change. I want the players to finish out the entire season, no matter how long it is, staying with the team, and honoring their younger teammates. But I am not sure folks like Tyler don't have a better grasp of reality than I do.
BTW, I literally hated it when car makers quit putting the headlight dimmer switch on the floor of the car. It was so convenient down there on the far left. No reason for that to have ever changed. But it is gone now and forever. Sort of like the Music City Bowl or the Pinstripe Bowl or the Mayo Bowl ought to be.

I like the fact that almost all Clemson Tigers ? play in our Bowl Games. It is likely because it is their last chance to take the field for Clemson, with their teammates. Never thought about some of our Clemson Greats considering, not playing? Don’t worry about the guys that are not playing, or departed. Focus on the Orange ? Bowl.
Also, every time I drive my old ‘69 Mustang, the floor dimmer switch takes me back too…..
Go Tigers, Whoop Tennessee!

This man is wise beyond his years. I agree with you, can't understand why he wouldn't go higher. Can't figure why he's not on everyone s first team. Measurables?? Idk. I know t h ats part of it. I guess potential is another etc. But honestly, at this point in time, I'd draft davis over Bresee.. like I said, I don't see it but apparently t h e services do.
