He is going to be a January 2021 enrollee but California has postponed football until Dec/Jan so he won’t get to play his HS senior season.

Do we need to list the ways?
They don't get to play their senior season.
They lose the opportunity to learn more about the game.
They might be a late bloomer and can grab a big time scholarship with a big final year, not everybody is full grown at 14 like some of these.

They still get to play their senior season. If they choose to leave early that is their choice. Nobody is getting screwed. The ones that play will still have a chance to shine and get scholarships if they don't already have offers.

Maybe NCAA should consider a February start option so kids can still play out senior year and go to college to start school and get in some spring practice.
