TL,Fields,Tua,Hurts

Some pretty good QB's out there on CFP teams, guess you can toss in Fromme too. Say what you want but Day has Fields loking pretty good and I suspect this has got to hurt UGA fans.

Has Ohio State played a single team near the the top 25 yet ?
In my opinion they'll get all they want from Wisconsin and/or Penn State .

Yes they might but it still does not mean the kid has not looked good for a 1st year starter . MSU was 25th before yesterday , A&M was not even close to their ranking when we played so there is that too.

Yes, they literally just blew out a ranked team this week. They also beat a good Cincinatti that is pretty much certain to finish 11-1 and with the conference. Nebraska's bad but probably better than Syracuse. And Ohio State's closest game was that 24 point pummeling of a ranked team. I don't think you can say Clemson's schedule has been better than theirs to this point, though I agree they should have some very good opponents before the season is over.

But your question also applies to us. Will we have beaten a ranked team at the end of the year? A&M is out of the top 25 next week and is going to continue to fall. GT is the worst P5 team in football during this rebuild year. UNC is not close to the top 25 and still have UVA, Duke, Pitt, and a Virginia Tech that was fairly impressive yesterday against the Hurricanes. And Charlotte got flattened by Florida Atlantic after their loss to our hands. Wake and UVA are Clemson's only shot for a ranked opponent this year.

Cincinatti is not going 11-1***

A good Cincinnati team that struggled with UCLA?

Any qb looks good when they’re in til the final whistle chunking it against a demoralized defense. If mich st had a pulse and anything that resembled an offense, that game would have been a lot closer. We’ll see how good Fields and hurts have come when they play a good team.

Day is getting Fields game time experience, nothing wrong with that and maybe we should be playing our #1QB more until whatever is broke gets fixed.

Seems Dabo also wants to keep team moral high by playing everyone. You do have a point though.

Dabo has a plan and it has proven to work well, I am just concerned that whatever is broken with TL is not gonna get fixed in practice. There is this too from an article, I tend to agree right now at this point of the season but do think our offense will find itself before CFP time and then it would change things.

How can you explain a team looking listless for parts of two quarters and still muddling its way to eventual dominance? Well, those scouts weren’t in town to go to the Short North or see the Blue Jackets’ blueliners. “I’ve seen both Ohio State and Clemson,” a veteran scout told Yahoo Sports this week. “Ohio State would definitely beat Clemson.”

I bet that scout thought the same thing 3 years ago!

Then, 31-0 happened!

How is dude from Oregon doing? He was supposed to be a top 5 pick or so in the next draft.
