I must have missed an announcement. Am I the only one who wasn't aware that we made Kyle Richardson and Matt Luke Co-OC's along with Garret Riley?
Does this signal that CDS knows Riley is probably here only 1 more season and is making plans now to elevate one or both? Or was this just a title change to get more compensation for them?

I believe it is a method to get a higher pay slot for a given coach and has little to do with actual coordinator duties.

My default guess was exactly this. Title change to get them more comp, also in Luke's case maybe to stave off those who might want to poach him?

IMO, if they get paid more for the title, they better provide quality input when improvement is needed. What was Conn doing when the D was on the skids last season? I'm sure he was paid well for co-DC title.

Hey what do you mean " What was Conn doing as Co-DC? ". Remember how he and Dabo led Bama to that 92 championship and how his hiring was supposed to generate a pipeline of talent from Grayson high school to Clemson (which still hasn't happened). That's right I keep forgetting his most important qualification....He's Dabo's best friend. How else do you think he was able to go without any accountability for the pathetic performance of the defense last season and still be employed. Even more funny he is now " co-special teams co-cordinator and still remaining Safeties coach. Really interesting how no one seems to mention anything about this blatant nepotism and how Conn still has a job, after years of providing very little on field production from the players he has recruited. Must be nice!!

Correct... no one is saying otherwise. In my original post I am saying that we have also listed Matt Luke and Kyle Richardson as Co-OCs. It was also on Matt Luke title on a workout video they just posted.
Were you aware of that? I sure wasnt

Whatever Dabo does is right on with me. He has proven that he
makes changes for the better. He would probably make a great
POTUS some day if he were to enter politics. Dabo is the man.
