Timmy D

Apr 23, 2015, 11:21 AM

I've always been a Spurs fan. Mostly because I grew up watching Tim Duncan at Wake and in his early years with the Admiral in SA. If he wins a ring this year, does he walk away? Perfect scenario is always winning the ring and riding off into the sun, but last year after the great run, he was still hungry for another one. He put up 29 and 11 last night in the OT win, so hes definitely still got it. At what point is it time to walk away?

I could be way off, but he seems like the kind of guy that would accept a smaller role or less money as long as he is winning and healthy.

I completely agree. I would love to see him stay as long as physically able to go. He's a class act guy that works hard and is never in any type of trouble (and has been the same way for almost 19 years). Not to mention, when we lose Duncan, we lose Pop. Hard to imagine a league with Pop and Duncan.

I think he would retire, I just don't see Tim as a role

player just for a ring. didn't Kareem Abdul-Jabaar retire after winning a championship. I wish Kareem a speedy recovery.

I loved his response when someone asked him why he didn't

have a twitter account and he said he had no desire to let people know what he was doing every minute of the day. Classic Duncan!
