Time to unite!

There's been a lot of division in recent weeks on this bored over secondary issues, but today we are going to set all that aside and uniformly focus on one thing, and that's sending the Volunteers back to the Smokey Mountains with their tails between their legs. This isn't about records or conference or any of that. This is about a cold rivalry. I call it that because we rarely play each other yet because of close proximity we complete constantly in recruiting. And we need to use this opportunity to bring the pumpers and the dumpers together and crush the fake orange and dump ol Smokey!

No one can deny your claim …, this is a biggie. Not only for this season but for all the good matchups to come. I honestly believe the addition of Klubnik had united the Tiger supporters. I think that he can handle all the pressure we have put on him. Tonight may very well be the start of something great. I’m anxious to see how our top coaching team handles all this!!!!

I've been following recruiting from these two teams for decades.

Back in the 80s and 90s I had to watch our best lineman from this stars take the pipeline to Tennessee. More recently we have claimed a couple of great Tennessee state receivers in Higgens and Rogers.
So yeah, we complete with them. I wish we played them in the regular season.
