The issue you raise won't be a problem next year with 12 team playoff.

But agree it's past time to leave the ACC.

Whatever the change is, the ACC champion will get a guaranteed spot in the CFP with a 12 team structure.

We are already leaving. This does not affect that at all.
We already knew before this how crappy this conference is. Despite Clemson bringing much wealth to the conference, we don’t get the same in return from being in the conference.

Florida State not getting in has zero effect on Clemson
