The ACC needs to end their relationship with ESPN and go to Fox or NBC, ABC or the CW. The SEC and ESPN have always hated on the ACC. They will not allow the conference to grow and get better. The ACC needs to start fighting back as well. A bully will continue to pick on you until you stand your ground against him.

In 6-8 years there will be a super conference and no more SEC, ACC, B1G, etc. It’ll be separate from the NCAA altogether. It’s coming. Stop worrying about conferences. Absolutely doesn’t matter.

Love to hear this from a well respected journalist. I'm no expert, but if you continually disenfranchise fans of of the ACC, BIG 12, former Pac 12, and other conferences, then that doesn't seem like a long term smart business plan. Eventually if your team has no chance of making it to the big dance, then you're probably one day just going say xxxx it and be done with college football.
