Do y'all ever think about the way the Tigers are at their best come playoff time? Not sure what it is. Conditioning?

They do an amazing job of doing enough during the season, but really opening it up in at the end.

Practice. Conditioning. Experience. Repetition. Learning. You are kidding with this question, right?

It's called talented hungry players that want to win. They want to show what they have on the biggest stages. It's what teams with the kind of players we get now are suppose to do.

I don't think that suppose to do belongs. It's just what they do bc they are that good and that talented. When they land on the big stage, they're full intentions are to prove they belong there!!!

I do. The loss in the national title game to Alabama is the only postseason loss the tigers have had since the 2011 season. Very impressive.

Even then, they proved that they belonged there. Our guys/team have played in two of the most exciting championship games that has been played in a many of years. I don't think that we actually got out played in 2015. I think that we mostly got out coached in NCG #1!!!

Dabo has this thing, and it's about winning, and it doesn't seem to matter who the opponent is. We get the lead, and then we protect the lead, and then we do what is required to take it to the house. He doesn't seem to care about a margin of victory, he just seems to care about his players and coaches and putting up the "W" at the end of the game. Yes, sometimes the score goes up, but how can he stop that? Especially with the second and third teams running on offense and defense. He's just a 'one-of-a-kind' man, coach, father, mentor and human being.
We are fortunate that he got planted in Clemson, because he is growing, sprouting, and spreading seeds that will benefit his players, family, friends and everyone he touches. I'm not that religous, but Dabo gives me faith in humanity and in the future for humanity. He's one special man in a very special time. Go Tigers!

Sitting on a leads give your non-starters practice for depth, builds team morale for playtime, keeps your starters fresh (for the year) and hopefully uninjured. It means you can show less to opponents, and with a defense this good you'd be crazy not to do it. A good defense gives the offense time to sniff out opponent defensive tendencies, keeps giving you the ball over and over again, and gives you good field position. Dabo is using his smarts over his ego for a gaudy score.
